Summary

FotoCalorías helps users estimate calories and macros from food photos, track meals, water, weight, measurements, workouts, and subscription access. The app does not sell personal data and does not use third-party advertising SDKs.

Data we collect

• Account information: email address, authentication provider, Apple or Google sign-in identifiers, and app user ID.
• Profile and nutrition data: name, age, gender, height, weight, target weight, goals, activity level, health-condition choices, calorie targets, and water targets.
• Food and activity records: meals, food names, calories, macros, meal photos when saved, water logs, workout logs, weight logs, body measurements, notes, favorites, and custom foods.
• Photos and user content: food images submitted for analysis, saved meal images, local profile photos, progress photos, and user-entered notes.
• Purchase data: subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement status, purchase/restore events, and transaction metadata from the app stores or RevenueCat.
• Technical data: device platform, app version, session/authentication tokens, diagnostic logs, security events, and limited usage events needed to operate the app.

• Contact info: email address and name, used for account creation, login, support, and account recovery.
• Health and fitness: nutrition logs, calorie targets, water logs, weight, body measurements, workouts, and goals, used for app functionality and personalization.
• User content: food photos, meal notes, progress photos, and profile photo, used for food analysis, saved history, and user profile features.
• Purchases: subscription and entitlement data, used to unlock premium features and restore purchases.
• Identifiers: app user ID, authentication ID, RevenueCat app user ID, and device/session identifiers, used for login, security, sync, subscriptions, and fraud prevention.
• Diagnostics: crash, performance, and error information may be processed by app platform or infrastructure providers to maintain the app.
• Advertising data: not collected. The app does not include third-party advertising SDKs.
• Location, contacts, microphone, SMS, and call log: not collected.

How we use data

• Provide food recognition, calorie and macro estimates, meal history, progress tracking, and workout tracking.
• Sync user data across devices when a user creates or signs into an account.
• Calculate personalized targets and reminders based on profile and activity inputs.
• Provide premium subscription access, purchase restoration, and customer support.
• Improve reliability, security, abuse prevention, and app performance.

Photos and AI analysis

Food photos submitted for analysis may be sent to service providers that process the image to identify food and estimate nutrition. Saved meal photos may be stored so they can appear in meal history. Profile photos are stored locally on the device unless a feature explicitly uploads them.

Service providers

FotoCalorías uses service providers for authentication, database/storage, AI food analysis, subscription entitlement management, app store payments, hosting, and email/account recovery. These providers process data only to provide, secure, and maintain the app.

Ads and tracking

The app does not show third-party ads and does not sell personal data. We do not use advertising data to track users across apps or websites.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept while the account is active. Users can delete their account in the app or request deletion from the public deletion page at https://www.caloriasporfoto.com/delete-account. Some records may be retained when required for legal, tax, security, fraud prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.

Children

FotoCalorías is not directed to children. Users who are not old enough to consent to data processing in their country should not create an account or use the app without appropriate parental or guardian consent.
